Aircraft passengers saved by a trained crew
161 passengers were evacuated by an airline crew at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport after a Boeing 767 bound for Miami, aborted take-off because of an engine-related mechanical issue. The plane ignited on the runway resulting in a full evacuation. Prior to the arrival of emergency services some 90 seconds after being alerted, the cabin crew had managed to evacuate all passengers, with 20 sustaining minor injuries. This is a clear demonstration of well trained and exercised staff. In the event of an emergency at your business, would your staff be able to react in a similar manner?
